I thought it had been to prevent other potential mates from arriving. However, it appears that it may simply be a comfort to some Irises. Itaru has been borrowing my shirts to sleep in, though I'm no longer Sanguis.
Interesting to consider, although that theory makes me feel like a primitive species. As desirable as the two of us may be, I highly doubt either of us require protection. Who is Itaru?

Yes, a friend. He asked me to butter his muffin. I invited him over and made him muffins and he ended up staying. He's quiet and helps with the dogs when I can't bring them with me. He helps me test new dishes. :)
