Riou's eyes fall immediately into Jyuto's when he turns around. While it may be unsexy squinting from Jyuto's end, to Riou it looks more like glistening, long lashes and partially lidded eyes. Cute...

Jyuto doesn't expect a kiss, but it doesn't mean one's unwelcome when it falls. His arms wrap snugly around the other man's waist, fingers lacing and locking his hands against Riou's tailbone. His eyes (that can hardly see), glistening and pretty to Riou, close to a gentle shut. The water of the shower head still raining down on them makes him feel like he's in a movie. When he pulls away, he wonders what things between them will be like, from now on. Will they not kiss after it becomes tomorrow? Hm... ]
I'd buy some. [ As there's room to speak. Jyuto unlaces his hands, sliding them back to the front of Riou's body and up to comb wet hair out of his face. Though subtle to other people, to Jyuto, Riou looks so happy. Jyuto has to kiss him again because of it, but when he breaks his own he tries to continue the conversation and fight falling into the very real threatening pit of icha icha madness. ]
Maybe we could make some together, Riou. [ Unlike catching bugs or skinning animals, the alternative of harvesting flowers or gathering herbs sounds much more pleasant to him. ] Turn around for me? [ His turn! ]

But he behaves himself, and straightens his back a little, moving to turn around exactly as Jyuto asks. There's no hesitation in that movement. ]

Should I start sending you copies of my schedule, once it's been posted? I think that soon I'll be able to decide it for myself. I was interviewed for officer moon knight promotion recently and everything. [ Jyuto is kind of humble bragging. It isn't on paper just yet, but Jyuto is more than certain he's going to be receiving said position. The interview itself wasn't questioning so much as acknowledging and praising all of Jyuto's progressive successes up until this point.
He looks up at Riou's nape and then down to the firm mounds of his ass. His thumbs dig tight circles into Riou's Apollo dimples. It's hard for him not to be at least a little perverted because it's all there, but Jyuto continues running the flats of his palms over the suds after letting his hands sit on Riou's lower back for a moment. ]

[ He's proud of Jyuto, he's always impressive. There's a small smile on his lips that expresses as much, though his back is turned to Jyuto so he may not see it. Once he's done, Riou turns around again, slow enough that the officer can keep his hands on him if he so chooses. ]

You have to condition it, first. I can sit after. [ Jyuto will move in on that opportunity, pumping an ample amount of conditioner into the cupped palm of his hand. Only after collecting it there does he lift his weight higher onto his toes so that he can smooth it over Riou's hair. Scrub, scrub... ]
I'm not hurting; it's just a bit off balance. The soreness will probably hit me tomorrow. [ In case Riou is worried. ]

[ He closes his eyes to let Jyuto condition his hair. His eyes are closed more because it feels very relaxing than because he's worried Jyuto will drop some in his eyes. ]
This feels nice.
[ He's glad that Jyuto isn't hurting then, he'll indulge him (and therefore himself) a little longer. ]

That’s bad for your hair. [ Jyuto tells him. There’s a note of concern, there. Attentive as he is to his own appearance, Jyuto knows a thing or two about self grooming. ] It’ll damage and dry it out, since there’s no way for you to both strip and replenish the natural oils in one formula.
[ Riou’s ready for a rinse, but Jyuto keeps scrubbing his head a moment longer. ]
I can recommend you a brand. You shouldn’t use the two in one anymore.

[ He cuts his own hair, too. Welcome to this weird self-sufficient world Riou lives in with military-like standards. They don't focus on hair and skin care.
He opens his eyes to peer at Jyuto, sincerely but half-lidded from relaxation and affection. ]

[ Riou's routine isn't satisfactory. He's selling himself short and his hair deserves better than a two in one!
As the suds come dripping down, Jyuto carefully makes a visor over Riou's brow line with one hand so that none of them might make it into his eyes. He runs his fingers through pieces of hair, making sure to wash all of the conditioner out of it. ]
Come to think of it, it makes a lot of sense that you wouldn't pay those sort of things any mind. I doubt there was a lot of time to get ready in the morning while enlisted. [ Jyuto imagines himself in an alternate reality, with a G.I. Joe commander yelling at him to get out of bed maggot... ]
Maybe I should buy more than just hair products.

Permitted military standard personal hygiene items include body powder, hand sanitizer, deodorant, a comb, floss, insect repellent, eye drops, foot powder, a hair brush, lip balm, shampoo, sanitizing wipes, a shaving kit, soap, sunscreen, a toothbrush and toothpaste, towels, and wash cloths.
[ Just so Jyuto knows what Riou uses! That is his whole list. That is literally taken from the field sanitation guide, which Riou has memorized. But if Jyuto wants to make adjustments, Riou will tell him what the list of items is so that Jyuto can make whatever adjustments he wants to it. Because Riou genuinely doesn't mind, he'll do whatever Jyuto wants him to.
But for now, staring at Jyuto through the water drizzling around Jyuto's hand on his forehead (the oddly slick water.. his hair feels so slick...) he leans forward against Jyuto's hand until the other's hand is against his own forehead. He better move it because Riou is coming in for another kiss. A soft one. ]

It may be a long one, since it doesn't sound like you have a proper skin care routine established yet. I was thinking I could buy the first set of items, write the names down on a list for reference, and then leave it to you to remember the bottles. Something like that.
[ He sinks his weight forward lazily. Done washing, they can swap to a bath now, whenever. ]

[ With that agreement, Riou moves to draw the bath properly and put in the salts tablet so that it's nice and ready. Now they can enjoy their nice relaxing bath, and once that's done and through, he'll make sure that Jyuto gets some proper rest, some cool water, and anything else he might need. ]
